New Jersey side, PDA Harkes, had come just short of the National Championships the past two years, losing in either the final or the semifinal match. This year PDA went all the way cruising to a 3-0 victory over Lake Grove SC United (E-NY), who had not allowed a goal all tournament. Colin Stripling would get two goals early on as PDA looked dominant. David Nigro would add another insurance goal in the first half. Tight defense by both sides held the final score at 3-0.
They will be in Kansas July 22nd - 28th to compete for a National Championship.

PDA Harkes (NJ) lost in the semifinals in last year’s Region I Championships. Looking to get to this year’s championship game they faced FC Frederick from Maryland in their semifinal matchup. Playing like they have something to prove, PDA Harkes displayed a balanced attack finding four different goal scorers on the way to a 4-0 win. David Nigro scored the lone first half goal in the 31st minute and sent PDA into the half confident of their chances. The flood gates would open and PDA’s balanced attack would find Matthew Clausen, Colin Stripling and James Murphy for second half goals. PDA will face a Lake Grove SC United team in tomorrow’s final that has yet to allow a goal all tournament.
In the Semi-Final James Murphy scored a goal from near midfield to secure the 4-0 victory .
